The McCullough-Hyde Women’s Giving Circle has awarded $35,000 in grants to seven community organizations in the four-county area.

The Giving Circle helps organizations which support women and children in Butler and Preble counties in Ohio, as well as Franklin and Union counties in Indiana. The organization reviewed nearly 30 letters requesting grant funding in the current cycle and decided on the final awards in March.

Preble County’s Home Is The (HIT) Foundation is the largest single recipient. The HIT Foundation will put its $7,500 grant toward supportive housing initiatives for Preble County residents facing eviction. Hope’s Closet, an organization which supports foster children and their parents, received $5,300 to support its boutique of new and gently used clothing and essentials.

College Corner Food Pantry, PARACHUTE and YWCA Hamilton each received $5,000 for various initiatives. PARACHUTE’s Every Child Has a Chance program provides court-appointed special advocates for children in the child welfare system. College Corner Food Pantry will use the funds to purchase high-quality feminine hygiene products, and the YWCA will use its grant to fund empowerment groups at its domestic violence shelter.

Triangle Therapy received $4,000 for upgrades to support pediatric day camps and activities, while HOPE-full Pastures received $3,200 to put toward therapeutic sessions focused on emotional wellbeing.

Since 2022, the Women’s Giving Circle has awarded nearly $80,000 in grants to local organizations. Grant material is available at TriHealth.com/MHMHFoundation, and the next application deadline is Nov. 1.
