This brief was submitted by JoAnn Hofmann-Sandro, who serves on the executive board of the Humane Society of Preble County.

Legend is a 1-year-old male Shepherd mix who came in as a stray. It would appear that he has never had any leash training but is willing to learn. He is thin at 80 pounds and we feel he will easily reach 90-95 pounds when he fills out. He is not adjusting to shelter life and is very stressed with the chaos of the other dogs. He would do so much better in a home with a big fenced yard, allowing him the freedom to stretch his legs and relax.

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please go to the Preble County Humane Society's website at www.humanesocietypc.com and complete an application. All of adoptions begin with an application.

The Humane Society will contact you once it has had the opportunity to review your application. This dog's adoption fee is $275. That fee includes spaying/neutering, microchipping, deworming and vaccinations.
