McCullough-Hyde Foundation approves 16 community grants

The McCullough-Hyde Foundation awarded $81,500 to 16 community organizations in its most recent grant cycle. Recipients included Big Brothers Big Sisters of Butler County.

The McCullough-Hyde Foundation approved 16 grants out of 28 applications in June, totaling $81,500.

The Community Grant Program addresses significant health needs of local communities throughout Butler and Preble counties in Ohio and Franklin and Union counties in Indiana, according to the McCullough-Hyde Foundation press release.

The grants range from $10,000 to $2,000 per organization. Among the grants awarded this cycle, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Butler County received $10,000 for its one-on-one mentorship program between children and volunteers. Butler County Educational Service Center, Junction Incorporated and Triangle Therapy Association also received upwards of $7,ooo for their own projects.

Since its launch in 2023, the Community Granting Program, through The McCullough-Hyde Foundation, has awarded more than $430,000 to community organizations, according to the press release.

Community Grants encompass support for education, prevention programs, awareness efforts, wellness opportunities and direct care which focus on mental health, alcohol and drugs abuse, access to healthcare, food insecurities and healthy behaviors, according to the press release.

The Community Grant Application is available on their website. The annual funding cycle deadlines are April 15, August 15 and December 15.
