The McCullough-Hyde Foundation has awarded $94,300 to a dozen local organizations to address health needs in Butler County and beyond.

Oxford Seniors was the largest recipient in this season’s grant cycle. The organization received $25,000 to support its door-to-door transportation services for seniors and adults with disabilities in and around Oxford.

Talawanda Middle School received $12,500 for equipment to establish a National Interscholastic Cycling Association Club and provide mountain bike experiences in classes and clubs. The Talawanda Athletic Boosters also received $10,200 to support upgrades to Darrtown Park.  YWCA Hamilton, meanwhile, received $12,000 to support its Dove House Domestic Violence Shelter.

Other grant recipients include organizations in Preble County, as well as Union and Franklin Counties in Indiana. The funding will support initiatives including Meals on Wheels, a homeless family shelter program, services for underserved communities in Camden and more.

The McCullough-Hyde Foundation has awarded almost $600,000 to local organizations since launching its grant program in 2023. The next funding cycle deadline is April 15, and information on how to apply is available at TriHealth.com/MHMHFoundation.
