Obituary: Arthur Keeler

Arthur Keeler, age 81, died Jan. 11, 2025.

Arthur was born in Hamilton, Ohio to Helena (née Kolb) and Edwin Keeler on Sept. 15, 1943. He is the beloved husband of Deborah (née Shimer) Keeler; devoted father of Dennis (Elan) Keeler; and dear uncle of Robert Pieratt, William Pieratt, Michael Arthur, Rock Kron, Nathan Kron, Jessica (née Boggs) Brewer, and Julianne Boggs. Arthur was preceded in death by his sisters Patricia Arthur and Jeanette Keeler, nephews Steven Pieratt and James Pieratt, and his parents. 

Arthur was a long time resident of Oxford and employee of Miami University. He grew up hunting, fishing, and later took up golfing and gardening. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed travelling across the US. He spent much of his retirement volunteering at a campground for underprivileged children.

Services will be held Saturday, February 8, 2pm at the Knolls of Oxford Auditorium. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Hamilton Living Water Ministry.
