Diana Ruth Keeler, 77, of Camden, Ohio passed away Feb. 13, 2025, at Golden Years Nursing Home in Hamilton, Ohio. She was born on June 14, 1947 in Lee County, Virginia to Lloyd and Mary (nee Kennedy) Estep. Diane married Franklin Delano Keeler on June 19, 1965.

Before the loss of her vision due to Narrow Angle Glaucoma, Diane could be found in the woods every spring hunting mushrooms. It was her favorite pastime, along with card playing. She also loved flowers, especially zinnias.

She was well known for her wit, storytelling and never backing down from anyone or anything. She loved her family and especially adored her grandkids and great grandkids. 

Diane is survived by her husband of almost 60 years, Frank Keeler; children Robin (Gary) Moore, John Keeler, James (Amy) Keeler; grandchildren Ryan (Brittany) Moore, Tyler (Miranda) Moore, Ashley (Tyler) Clemons, Colby Keeler, Dakota Keeler; nine great-grandchildren including one on the way; and brother, Joe (Sandy) Estep.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Mary Estep, siblings, Lloyd Estep Jr, James Edward Sr, and sister, Rita Jefferson. 

A memorial visitation will be held March 2, 2025, from 1-3 p.m. Memorial services will begin at 3 p.m. at the Ogel & Paul R. Young Funeral Home. Pastor Debbie Richardson of Hope Ministries will preside.

The family would like to thank the staff at McCullough-Hyde's Inpatient care unit for the compassionate and respectful care they always gave Diane. In addition, they would like to thank the staff at Golden Years Nursing Center and her family member Stephanie Gambill for all the help and care given to her at home. 

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Lung Association or the American Council for the Blind.
