Obituary: Douglas Ray Baker

Douglas Ray Baker born July 10, 1961 in Port Angeles, Washington, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. He was the loving son of Jeanette McCormick Baker of Oxford, father of Michael (Jennifer) Baker and Kyle Birkinbine, grandfather of Noah and Abigail, brother of Terry (Donna), Cindy (Delbert), twin brother Don, and Tim (Candy), as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Baker; grandparents, Clair and Violet McCormick and Elida Smith; and sister, Barbara Baker Fields.

Doug was a 1979 graduate of Talawanda High School and worked many years for Baker Concrete and various concrete construction companies. He loved his family, especially his parents, and greeted everyone with his handsome smile and witty charm. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
