Frankie Baker, age 88, died Jan. 14, 2025.

Frankie was born to Mae Wooten in Franklin, Indiana on March 24, 1936. She is the beloved mother of Lynda (Everett) Paddock and Tara (Duane) Hertel; cherished grandmother of Kelye (Don) Conrad, Josh (Morgan) Paddock, Jordan Walters, Kayla (Zack) Stout, Taylor (Anthony) Anderson, Karli Middleton as well as great grandmother of Brooklyn Conrad, Wyatt Conrad, Anthony Anderson Jr., Owen Stout, Evan Stout, Kason Stout, Skylar Anderson and many other grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Mae and Walter Napier, her husband Richard Keith Baker, her daughter Debbie Walters and husband Mark Walters, her daughter Valerie Lynn Baker, and her son-in-law Michael J. Walters.

She had many jobs over the years including Walmart associate, school bus driver and florist. She and Richard also had Baker's Garden & Feed for many years. She loved animals, especially horses and dogs. She leaves behind her sweet Boston Terrier, Charlie, who will miss her very much. Frankie was also very attentive to keeping the birds on her property fed and could nearly always be found outside doing something around the house. She loved to tend to her flowers, garden, mow the lawn and decorate (inside and outside). She was always keeping busy and especially enjoyed getting ready for the holidays. But more than anything, Frankie loved her family. She was a bright and shining light who will be deeply missed.
