Dominic was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 30, 1971 and passed away at his home in Oxford, Ohio on July 23, 2024. He is the beloved husband of Erika Grajales Esquivel; former husband of Audra Peters; devoted father of Chelsea (Nathan) Leisgang, Caitlin (Trevor) O'Kane and Pablo Luz Grajales; treasured grandfather of Emery Leisgang and Baby Leisgang; cherished son of Donna Jean Ruth and David (Virginia) Staubach; dear brother of Michael (Kristy) Staubach, Robin (Dan) Coletta, Jake (Theresa) Staubach, Emily Staubach, Madeline Staubach and Adam Ruth; loving nephew of Karen (Richard) Blizzard and many other aunts and uncles as well as many nieces and nephews. He will be fondly remembered by his family and countless friends.

Dominic proudly served his country in the United States Navy for over 20 years, enlisting as a Nuclear Machinist's Mate. In his latter service, he pursued his passion for people by converting to a Navy Counselor to shape the future naval generations. He retired as a Petty Officer. During his "second career" he followed his passion in culinary arts, working in the food industry.

Dom loved to cook, but also had many other interests including magic, fishing, and exotic birds. He enjoyed family game time, video games, and catching up on all the recent movies. He took pride in serving at his local church through many avenues such as community dinners and vacation bible school.

Dom enjoyed any opportunity to speak in Spanish and was pursuing learning many other languages. He was truly a citizen of the world and didn't know a stranger.

Dominic was a bright and shining light in the lives of all who knew him. He will be deeply, deeply missed.
