Obituary: Maria Johnson

Maria Johnson, age 34, died on Sept. 2, 2024. She was the daughter of Trina Brown Hunter & George Lewis Johnson 3rd, mother of Tamara Steele, Austin Grosse and Carlie Grosse; sister of Lewis Johnson, Shanora King and Gavohn Johnson; other survivors include Dominic Hunter, her stepfather.

Maria Antionette Renee Johnson was born in Detroit, Michigan, and raised in Ohio. She went to school to become a nurse because she loved to help people. Maria loved music, she could play music on the piano just by hearing it. She was an artist; she loved to draw. Maria loved her some animals, too, and she also loved to do hair. Maria was very talented in many things. She loved to party with family and friends, and she loved the color red. She always kept a smile on her face no matter how much pain she was in, and she would go out of her way for everybody. She would do anything for anybody, she would be all in. Now she rests in peace with her great grandma Daisy and her uncle Mike. Rest, rest, rest rest in peace baby girl, love always, family.
